    Hello everyone.

I am working on updating the current iteration of the State of TN Intranet, which is a static environment that utilizes Adobe Contribute (a real pain).

I am really impressed with the direction Infinity has taken. Having used various frameworks in the past (thesis, headway, etc…), they were cumbersome and overly bloated.

In under 30 minutes I can have a WordPress powered site up and running with a very intuitive design that is not to taxing on system resources via Infinity. Using Active Directory Integration, bbPress, and BuddyPress I can allow state employees to access, share and become more engaged within the intranet.

I am loving this solution and I will be providing a case study for anyone to use as a blueprint for future reference.

    Just sharing my 2ยข.

    Hi Johh (@johnmclearran),

I’m really exited to hear that! It’s really great to read that you like what me and Marshall have worked on for so long! I would be extremely helpful for others (and even ourselves) to read how you’re setting up your intranet. I’ve used Infinity for a similar project in the past and like you say it’s flexibility and compatibility with BBpress/BuddyPress/Multisite makes it really suited for these types of projects.

I can always say that you’re not the only one who has noticed that, and we’ll have a huge announcement regarding Infinity’s future coming up soon. We believe it will be huge for intranet and educational networks :-)

If you need any help or have questions please let me know ok? :-)
